REQUIREMENTS

Suitable applicants must:

  • Be able to work independently
  • Enjoy working collaboratively within a team and with external stakeholders
  • Enjoy working with a wide range of clients from diverse backgrounds
  • Have a positive mindset, be adaptable and eager to deliver Allied Health services in a wide variety of settings
  • Have a client centered approach that is both professional and empathetic

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or equivalent
  • Current Drivers Licence
  • Current police record check and blue card or ability to obtain
  • Eligible for membership of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Well-developed communication skills and a proven ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
  • Proactive and responsive to changing patient profiles and service demands

ADVANTAGEOUS

  • Confident in using different forms of technology such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to think laterally and adapt assessment and treatment to suit remote localities with potentially limited resources
  • NDIS experience in providing individualised care and wellbeing management plans to assist clients to reach their health goals.
