Support Your Child’s Development with a Paediatric Physio Who Cares...

Our paediatric physio specialises in the physical development, movement and function of infants and children. We help monitor development, support gross motor milestones such as sitting, crawling and walking, and provide early intervention for children who may need extra support.

This can be especially valuable for babies born prematurely, infants who have spent extended time in NICU or special care, and children with conditions that affect movement and development, including cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and other genetic conditions.

With thorough assessment, personalised guidance and practical treatment strategies, we help families feel supported every step of the way.

Individualised Care

Tailored assessment and treatment plans based on your child’s needs, age, stage of development and goals.

Development-Focused Support

Comprehensive care to support milestones, movement quality, coordination, strength, balance and overall function.

Ongoing Support

Clear recommendations, hands-on support and practical strategies to help your child progress with confidence over time.

When to Visit a Paediatric Physio

Are you concerned your child is not reaching gross motor milestones at the expected ages, struggling to keep up with their peers, or having difficulty with balance, coordination or strength?

You may also benefit from seeing a paediatric physio if your child has frequent falls or trips, has a condition affecting movement or breathing, has experienced an injury, or needs rehabilitation after surgery to restore movement and function.

What can parents expect?
Your appointment includes an in-depth assessment of the presenting concern, a general review of development, and a clear plan for what comes next. We will let you know whether ongoing physiotherapy is recommended and, if physio is not the best fit, guide you towards the most appropriate service.

How Else Can We Support Your Child?

Early Development Support

We assist with monitoring development and helping babies and children reach important milestones. This is especially important for infants born prematurely or those who have spent extended time in NICU or special care, as well as children who may be at high risk of cerebral palsy or have genetic conditions such as Down syndrome.

Movement, Posture and Gait Concerns

We assess and treat plagiocephaly, torticollis, developmental delay, toe walking, in-toeing, out-toeing, gait abnormalities and Developmental Coordination Disorder. Our aim is to help your child move more comfortably, confidently and efficiently.

Injuries, Orthopaedic Rehab and Recovery

We support children with growth-related and sports injuries affecting the bones, joints, muscles and ligaments, as well as follow-up physiotherapy after orthopaedic surgeries. Treatment focuses on restoring movement, improving strength and helping your child return to everyday activities.
